An experience I will never forget. Shooting these beauties from a Rib in the Grand Harbour along with two other great photographers, Darren Zammit Lupi and Domenic Aquilina. Boy, we rode the high waves getting there but it was well worth it. Thank you Maria Vella Galea and Mark Napier for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

The colours, hues of this particular season of the year are impressive, with leaves from deciduous trees turning yellow, orange, pink, red, burgundy, violet. A whole blend of colours. When the sun shines everything looks golden, pure, clean. Autumn is a time when trees shed their leaves, a time for reflection into ourselves. As the end of the year grows closer we think of what each year has brought us, good and bad. The hues of this season can sometimes be associated with melancholy. In Autumn, the possibilities of summer are gone, and the chill of winter is looming on the horizon. Skies turn grey, people turn inward, both physically and mentally

I visited Prague in February 2009 on a work assignment. I was impressed and stunned with the beauty of this city, truly a gem of Eastern Europe.

While visiting one of Belgium's largest nature reserves I had the opportunity of seeing three young white rhinos there. I spent an hour observing them, they looked so calm and peaceful. True, they are not in their natural habitat but in true fact they are relatively safe there, away from the evil poachers that are slowly rendering the rhino population to the verge of extinction. I have recently written an article which recently featured in The Malta Independent with respect to this and will be posting it shortly. Special thanks go to Zayne Barkas of the Protrack Unit and of course Stephen Calleja for giving my article excellent coverage. I would also like to thank Joe Mifsud on TVAM for giving importance to my article on his TV show. A special thanks to all who have read it. This article was solely to raise awareness to the sad cruelty that is taking place in places like Kruger Park in South Africa and many other Parks throughout Africa. The black rhino is almost extinct. Let us try to each do our little bit to save these creatures from extinction. stef

An avid Tudor fan myself, I find London a fascinating city, rich in its own history, myths and stories. Henry VII, VIII, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth I, are some monarchies who will remain there. London, its musicals, museums of Fine Arts, shopping, yes 155 days of rain too, but one would forget all about rain when in London for it can truly be one magical city as it has been for me. No matter how often I visit London I never tire of its beauty and the magic it brings along with it ..

This portfolio will showcase some of my work involving vegetables and fruits. They can be fun to photograph but it also depends on the weather and the mood with which such shots are taken. I love shooting at markets, the vegetables look so fresh and I try to photograph them in their truest version.

.. Here the water is the mistress and the land the vassal...One of my favourite cities .. I have visited this city some three to four times, sadly the weather was never to my favour. Nevertheless the results were still great. I plan to visit the city some time very soon .. so .. watch this space .. |
